I’ve just bought A New computer using WINDOW 11. I’ve tried To put CATVids on it by transferring the .MDB file across, from the old window 10 one, find all works ok, APART from the cover images being lost. This is what I see when I open up a DVD. That’s about 8000 DVDs to update!! Any ideas about what I’M DOING Wrong? Best wishes Jon Bambury Attachments:

Did you store the images in the database or were the images links to files in a separate folder(s)?

They were stored within the database.

Right Click on the toucan and select Properties. Does it say "Stored In Database" or give a file path?

It gives a file path. I hadn't realised that I'd stored the image info Ouside the database.
I'VE NOW COPIED THE Imasges FROM THIS SOURCE AND ITS PATH ONTO THE NEW COMPUTR AND ALL IS WELL.
How do I get back to using the internal "Stored In Database" again? (on my original)

Use this with caution as there is a limit (2GB?) to the size of the database. Storing images outside the database do not impact the size as drastically. If you're image folder plus your current database size is more than 2GB, I would not do this. Make backups just in case..
TOOLS > DATABASE MAINTENANCE > LOAD EXTERNAL IMAGES..
